This Week’s Dessert Special at Fränzel: Homemade Kalter Hund (Cold Dog) with Stroh Rum

This week at Fränzel, we’re serving Kalter Hund, a chocolate biscuit cake and German household favorite since the 1920s. At Fränzel, Chef Franz baked the Butterkekse fresh in-house and layered them with silky chocolate ganache enriched with Tahitian vanilla and Stroh rum. Served chilled, it is both comforting and special.
